Channeling a love affair with classic ’90s hip-hop, low tones and futuristic funk, Barclay Crenshaw uses his given birth name to bare his soul and deliver a new style of emotive bass music. His self-titled debut album was a left-field departure from his popular house music alias, Claude VonStroke in 2016 and now he has decided to go full force into the void exploring grime, jungle, halftime bass, hip-hop, and some genres we don’t even know what to call. Coded art and epic visuals depicting ancient alien abductions, new psychedelic planets and explorations of time and space continue with the incredible artist Daniel Martin Diaz who will be collaborating with Barclay for the second time. A new album is promised with multiple singles, bootlegs and mixtapes coming out over the next year and beyond.
